While every Feather deck out there runs a large suite of instants and sorceries that target creatures, there is somewhat of a divide between decks that commit to the voltron approach and others that focus more on tokens. These need not conflict with one another since many decks include cards for both, but there is a third category of card that Feather puts on the table which are Guttersnipe-style cards that burn our opponents for every instant and sorcery spell we cast. I try here to focus on a storm-style deck that makes and pumps tokens while burning down the opposition, with voltron kills a possibility that isn't much of a focus. Feather is a great engine, so I prefer not to commit her to combat all the time, and playing voltron style guarantees that my opponents will harass me with removal constantly. What results is a pretty powerful and resilient token/storm/prowess deck that can often steamroll the competition.

While he takes a token approach, I have nonetheless greatly benefitted from the brilliant and unique suggestions by Control_Train here on tappedout. While I have definitely charted my own path in many ways, his primer is the one that I go to for guidance.
