Ah hyper budget. It can be very challenging to make a playable deck with the lowest of budgets. Not every commander has the possibility of it. Luckily for Feather, a good portion of the cards you want keep your cost down low.

When going with a hyper budget the main things you need is for your commander to have an ability that can work well even with weaker/cheap cards, Talrand, Sky Summoner is another great example of one. And in this case our cards of choice are single target spells.

With Feather what youre looking to do is spam low cost single target spells to increase your power, Have them continue to return to your hand, and swing in for heavy damage. With the use of cards like Guttersnipe You can turn the recasting of these spells into extra damage. And with Zada, Hedron Grinder you can spread that spell to all your creatures. This is extra fun with the spells that have Draw a card latched on as with enough creatures you could re-fill your hand with 1 cast. And finally of course you want to make sure you can have a nice hefty board of targets. Using the same idea as Guttersnipe with Vanguard of Brimaz and other cards youll be able to build up a board state and even lock down your opponents boards.

Feather is very unique and easy to shape a deck around which is why Feather is one of the most built decks on EDHrec. But this is great for new players or players on a budget as you can find plenty of information as well as seek advice for upgrading your deck. I love Budget builds, the cheaper the better. They set you up with a Great foundation to build on. Cheap cards that are easily upgraded but ones that still let you spend time with the commander and get an idea of what direction you want to go. You could even find that maybe the commander isn't right for you and luckily youve saved the big bucks for the right one. But either way have some Great games folks!
