Game —Aug. 11, 2019
Played a 3 person game against a 80% Rhys deck and a 80% Merieke deck. Ramped into Cluestone T3, Ur-Golem’s and Thaumatic Compass T4. Eventually got Akroan Crusader, Zada, Hedron Grinder and Feather out. Made some tokens. Highlight was being able to draw 27 cards off of casting Heal, Expedite and Bandage targeting Zada (with 9 total creatures out. Played Guttersnipe, slung some spells for 14 damage and then ended up dying to Rhys’ Craterhoof Behemoth with 10 tokens out. Good game with lots of draw!
So Paradox Engine got banned. I’ll be interested to see where Feather meta goes. Unwinding Clock picks up the scraps of the engine. I think it’s exciting to see decks rotate around this change. Still could go the voltron route in many ways.

Yes I heard the news. Personally I'm against the PE ban, but it is what it is. I wasn’t running it in Feather anyway since Iw asn’t running enough rocks to justify its place. Same reasoning behind Unwinding Clock. If I do end up adding in more rocks I’ll certainly contemplate the idea. I’m about to place an order for a bunch of new cards for a bunch of decks. You’ss see the edits come in over the next week or two. Not sure I’m tempted enough to do voltron with Feather, though not completely against it. We will see!
