Sideboard

I took inspiration from the deck Fauna's End (https://www.mtggoldfish.com/articles/instant-deck-tech-fauna-s-end-modern) and set up a deck which focuses on creature tutoring with Fauna Shaman (and pseudo-tutoring with Collected Company , Congregation at Dawn , and Incubation) to search the library for appropriate responses to the threats your opponent throws onto the board. At the same time, we filter through the deck to maintain midgame threats and find our finishers.

Ramp from Noble Hierarch , Birds of Paradise gets us to Carnage Tyrant , Wurmcoil Engine or the smaller Vorapede a turn or two early. Late game, after we've cycled through our less relevant creatures for a matchup/the opponent has successfully gotten in removal, Boneyard Wurm offers an alternative win-condition.

We keep our bombs protected with Shalai, Voice of Plenty , Spell Queller , a potential Gaddock Teeg to anticipate board wipes, and, depending on the threat, Jeskai Barricade , to bounce the top end of our curve (or other important supporting creatures) back to our hand.

Then we have a few creatures to functionally act as removal instants we can tutor for at any time. Wasteland Viper to give one of our blocked creatures deathtouch, Winged Coatl to block and destroy a flyer, and Ambush Viper for a non-flier. I'm considering adding more of these in to round out my removal, but I haven't gotten a sense of how necessary that is since I can more-or-less grab them on command.

Ideally, we play at least one mana dork on turns 1/2, and start to tutor turns 3/4/5. Otherwise, we fill our board and and interrupt our opponent's with our two and three drops. Once we tutor up or draw into our finishers (turns 4/5/6/7 depending on what parts of the opponent's plan may first need attention and how many mana dorks we have to work with) and likely end the game in the following turns.

I'd love any thoughts on this deck. It's more for casual play than anything else, but I'm interested in polishing the concept and strategy nonetheless.
