An incarnation of my Mina and Denn, Wildborn EDH deck.

Introduction

So as said before , this was originally intended to be my M&D Commander deck, but I decided to change commanders because:

• I have most of the cards, including Xenagod

• More bang for my buck; can be powerful on a low budget

• Stronger commander, Xenagod is a tier 3 commander and very powerful

There's more reasons why Xenagod is a great commander, but I'll cover that later.

Budget

So the budget for this deck is currently around $70, will be raising the price as time goes on and I acquire more ideal (and less budget cards).

Strengths/Why Play this

• Very aggressive and very high damage output
• Loads of fun fatties to smash opponents' faces
• Very easy-to-follow strategy

• Good bang for your buck

Weaknesses/Why Not to Play This

Very linear strategy

Draws some hate towards you

Doesn't win through too many combos; mainly focuses on ramming your huge fatties into opponents

Lacks defense against control decks

Game Plan

So this deck as of now is able to win relatively consistently by turns 7-8, if left alone, which is very quick in my opinion in a mostly casual meta.

Ideal Starting Hand

• Filled with at least one ramp card (mana dorks/rocks or ramp creatures/spells
• A fatty is ideal, but you may wind up drawing into one by turn 5
• 2-3 lands is the sweet spot

Game Plan

• Turns 1-4 are dedicated to getting out Xenagos, occasionally turn 5

• By turns 5 and 6, you may have one or two fatties on the field and swinging every turn

• The rest of the turns consist of pumping up large creatures, and casting more fatties while attacking as fast as possible

Wincons

Like any good EDH deck, we must have win conditions in order to beat our opponents (you don't say?). Even though a majority of your wins will be from attacking with big fat fatties, there are a few noteworthy synergies or combos. Here's a list:

So this deck is tailored to my liking, and I'll explain some of the cards we are using:

• The Great Aurora- A board wipe in , self-explanatory

• Starstorm- A board wipe in , also self -explanatory

• Whisperer of the Wilds- We have fatties, and this mana dork likes fatties

• Bane of Bala Ged - So this deck focuses on combat, why not have combat-based removal

• Quicksilver Amulet- Cheat in fatties

• Grafted Exoskeleton- Infectious fatties are very deadly ;)

• Snow-Covered Forest- Yes, I do not have an Extraplanar Lense or any other snow-covered land support. I am mainly using these for shits and giggles, and on the off-chance the opponents do have one, well, it gets funny.
