I think the idea here is fairly straight forward, you want everything, everywhere in a graveyard to pump up your guys and then use Jarad to turn them into direct damage for your enemies. Cards like Worldspine Wurm, Gutter Grime, Hooded Hydra and Hydra Broodmaster all generate tokens to ensure that there are always creatures on the field even if they/something dies, and Death's Presence can help snowball the size of things - especially all the hydras (they play a huge role in this deck). One neat especially neat trick while Death's Presence is in play, is utilizing Scourge of Skola Vale's ability - this will net you counters for the both the sacrificed creature's power AND toughness (as you can imagine this can get crazy fast while our buddy Corpsejack Menace is also out). Use hydras to overpower anything on the board or give an oversized one to Jarad to kill everyone at once. When you play Cavern of Souls, name hydras as your creature type, type-wise they are the biggest tribe in the deck and you don't want them to be countered.

Rather than adding a lot of card draw I put in a lot of things that will help dig things back out of the graveyard, making for multiple uses or acquiring of cards that were milled out, as well as cards that recycle themselves. Altar of Dementia pulls double duty, activating death triggers on some things, the sacrifice triggers of Savra, Queen of the Golgari and can provide very effective self milling. Additionally, you could use it to mill an entire players deck out if you were to sacrifice something large enough.

I've been very happy with the way it performs, I don't always win with it, but I do always have fun and manage to do a few fun things with it before being taken out.
