Sideboard

Inspired by this Belcher deck (https://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/modern/deck-creation-modern/511941-modern-belcher-forest-belcher-land-thinning) from several years ago, Forest Belcher is a turn 4.5 combo deck that aims to remove all seven lande from your deck and use Goblin Charbelcher to dome your opponent for around 30-40 damage. The primer I linked above explains the deck far better than I ever could, so I'll just focus on the new tech.

Wolfbriar Elemental

In a non-budget version of the deck, these should be Wurmcoil Engines, but nobody has enough money to spend $75 on three cardboard rectangles, so here we are. Traditionally, we would be running Hornet Queen, nut I've been testing the elemental as an alternative. I have been impressed with it so far, as its ability to be played without kicker on turn two or three can completely stonewall some aggro decks and significantly help your worst matchup. You can also cast it for more than seven mana, making it an extremely versatile card, worth an include even if the wolves are slightly worse than the bees. That being said, in the long run I may test a split of the two cards.

Harmonize

I haven't been very impressed with Harmonize so far, as it feels extremely clunky to play and not very valuable. I haven't done enough testing to know if it is any better than Ancient Stirrings, another card that is extremely clunky but necessary.

Haze of Pollen

Great against aggro, better than Fog. There isn't much to say here, other than that Moment's Peace may be worth a try.

Wild Cantor

Wild Cantor is an interesting card. It allows some explosive plays, and makes Caravan Vigil one of the best cards in our deck. On the other side, it is more vulnerable to removal than Sakura-Tribe Elder, and doesn't thin our deck. Ultimately, it may be up to you which to include, and it may even change as I do more testing.

Arbor Elf

Mentioned briefly in the primer, the elf has great synergy with Utopian Sprawl but it weaker to aggro. If you were to replace it, I would suggest Birds of Paradise.

Blood Moon

There are more than a few decks in the format that just can't beat a turn one or two Blood Moon, especially on the draw. Against decks with greedy manabases, especially ones that can board in Stony Silence, the single worst card for you to have to beat, you can side in the Moon and maybe Cinder Glade to lock them out of the game. I only own one of them, but there should probably be more in the board.

Spellskite

A decent hate card against Bogles that also can protect our Charbelchers and our creature threats. Bad against Stony Silence.

Arborback Stomper

This is a solid card against aggro that can be played ahead of curve quite easily. It could also be Life Goes On.
