Welp... Was doing good until the final matches, per usual. I made it to 7-3, 37th place overall. Not too bad. had to play against a mountain the final round to drop be to 7-3... If I would have won... I would have been 10th place overall... and SOOOO close to top 8.
Anyway... here are the results of my SCG OPEN experience in MLPS 10-25-14

Game 2 - Mono Red Aggro 2-1 WIN
Game 3 - Abzan midrange 2-1 WIN
Game 4 - Abzan midrange 2-0 WIN
Game 5 - (feature match, garruk) B/W Midrange 2-0 WIN
Game 6 - (Feature Match, On Camera and everything) Sultai Villianous Wealth - 2-0 WIN
Game 7 - Abzan 1-2 LOSS
Game 8 - Abzan 1-2 LOSS
Game 9 - Abzan 2-0 WIN
Game 10 - Against Brad Nelson's B/W Midrange... 1-2 LOSS. Went to game 3, game was crazy. He is really good at magic :)
Everyone and their mothers played Abzan... was kind of boring... thank god for Stormbreath Dragon. The games I lost... I never drew one. That tells you how good that damn dragon is...
7-3 still won me $50!

This deck focuses mainly on exploding the board with mana ramp and exploiting god powers.
Creatures like
Fanatic of Xenagos
can be a blitz to damage as well as devotion. Xenagos, God of Revels and Nylea, God of the Hunt offer some really powerful combat advantages. Especially haste and trample.
However, this deck is about having the time of your life, and getting fat things on the board quickly.
Blah Blah, what should I say? Its my personal take on R/G monsters, and
Fanatic of Xenagos
is a beast when his God is in play.
