Prepare to embark on a ruthless crusade, where you lead the Gitaxian forces against all opposition, bent on converting them to your interpretation of Phyrexian scriptures. The war will rage on until you give them a final coup de grace in the form of a wave of compleated elven warrior tokens.

Philosophically, this deck is about roleplaying as one of Jin Gitaxias' generals, on a crusade to bring all of New Phyrexia in line with your vision of Progress. Kill spells are your loosed arrows, Elves are your mutated war party, and the beasts are your mounts and other denizens of the forest where the light seldom shines.
This deck is all about filling in the floor as soon as possible with your small dudes. As you build up experience, Ezuri pumps your army as your soldiers grow in power and number. The early game features heavy ramping and card draw, and agonizing board control via utility creatures for your opponents. While they struggle to build up a useful board state, you will be assembling an army of tokens.

I don't want to be too oppressive, however. Just as long as my opponents feel the pressure of the hunt.

How we win

-Usually we win when all boards but ours are either depleted or outnumbered, and then our massive token swarm can push through.

-One of the Infected minions buffed by any of our buff effects can close a game out fairly well (Coat of Arms, Ezuri, Immaculate Magistrate, etc)

-Triumph of the Hordes is also a reliable finisher with the right amount of elves on the board.

Beware that our board is not all that resilient when it comes to board wipes, so we should try to counter those whenever possible.

(Anti-Thematic cards included for Gameplay - Sage of Hours, Seedborn Muse, Prime Speaker Zegana, Coiling Oracle, etc. Basically anything not lands, Mirran, or Phyrexian.)

Lab Maniac is here (with justifiable flavor), mostly to just have a demonstrable win condition when I combo out with Sage, as well as when I draw arbitrarily large sums with Prime Speaker and Fathom Mage.

Suggestions to think about: I still need to work on my mana outlets. I seem to flood out and run out of things to spend my vast mana on about ten tuns in. I'm thinking of some green Shivan Dragon effects or more token generation/ fatties. More or better Elves?

Anything more flavorful will be awesome suggestions. I thought about Praetor's Counsel, but it's super mana intensive... Dunno if it's worth it. Ditto for Papa Gitaxias himself.

Swapped Prophet of Kruphix with Seedborn Muse because it got the banhammer. C'est la vie.

Cut Primal Vigor for Soul of New Phyrexia to avoid the symmetrical effect. Plus - Flavor points!
