Extremely Aggressive Kor

Casual

raven512

This Kor tribe deck has potential to be extremely aggressive as well as supplying a decent mid/to late game win strategy should your game last that long.

Main Aggressive Strategy :

Turn 1; Plains play Kor Duelist.

Turn 2; Plains play Bonesplitter Plains to equip it to Kor Duelist and attack for 3 double strike.

Turn 3; you have a few options depending on what you have in hand ideally you'd want to play a third Plains And get a Swiftfoot Boots onto your Duelist to give it Hexproof before your opponent gets enough mana to start playing creature removal. You could also Oblivion Ring an opponent's creature as by turn 3 they may only have one out and you can crash in for 6 damage again with your Duelist. At this point continue play as you progress into the mid game strategy.

Alternate Strategy:

Turn 1; Plains play Quest for the Holy Relic.

Turn 2; Plains or Kabira Crossroads depending on cards in hand and start dropping creatures like Lone Missionary or Kor Duelist.

Turn 3 and 4; this is when you want to start playing Kor Skyfisher it allows you to bounce permanents back to your hand like your creatures so you can cast them again and rack up counters on Quest for the Holy Relic

Continue play as you start going into mid game

Mid game strategy: Most important card for mid game is Armament Master he can be played early and given equipments but unless you can put Swiftfoot Boots on him immediately he's a big target for removal. Once you have enough counters on Quest for the Holy Relic you can cast Armament Master and get Swiftfoot Boots on him so he's protected. Now your Kor guys are beefier and those cheap little guys mean something.

Resume play and beat your opponent down with your Kor creatures using Oblivion Ring to remove any troublesome permanents. If that's not enough just use Conqueror's Pledge to swarm the field with 6 1/1 tokens that just so happen to be Kor.

Extras: To explain a few cards not mentioned in the above strategies. Explorer's Scope is a very cheap equipment that helps get extra land on the field and keeps you from drawing land. Kor Hookmaster is a little expensive for early game but a turn three play can help you tap down an opponents blocker so you can hit them with your Duelist. Lone Missionary and Kor Skyfisher work very well together as you're gaining 4 life every time the missionary enters the battlefield not to mention getting counters on your Quest for Holy Relic.

Overall this deck was designed to be a strong deck that's easy to play for newer players to learn about card synergy. This deck is also incredibly cheap as I believe it could be purchased for under $20
