Welcome to a budget build. A group of people from our local game store decided to start up a league where we have $20 to spend on a deck and from there build our decks up through tournament play. The winner will then be allowed to add another $15 to their deck whereas the other people in the pod will be able to put $10.

I started off with 5 color slivers because I wanted to play a deck that had a general that can tutor. I also looked into Sidisi, Undead Vizier however did not want to stick with just one color. This was the first deck I made out of the bunch however brushed it off.

I played a couple test runs with Sliver overlord and it was lacking spot removal. Other players in the league decided to go the voltron route. Skullbriar and Thrun to name a few. After coming back to the drawing board, I wanted to try out this extort/lifegain option. With Karlov's ability this deck can go multiple ways. Voltron, control, stax/tax, or add in deathtouch and ping creatures. After a couple games this deck can really go off turn 3 with Zuran Orb on the field. This deck has lots of room to grow and I can't wait to see how this deck turns out after a couple tournaments.

I will update this deck whenever I make changes and I think it will be nice to see this deck evolve from what it is now. The $20 is based on TCGplayer checkout option.
