Get a Stonecoil serpent This is my version of the Exquisite Inventions C18 deck which I got in the summer of 2018. When out of the box, this deck against just the Nature's Vengeance deck and Subjective Reality deck was superior as I won each of 3 games. Then we all upgraded our decks a little - for my friend with the Subjective Reality deck, the upgrade was to switch deck lol. My deck still won most games. I had 'Ulamog, Ceaseless Hunger', Goblin Welder, Void Winnower and 'Sai, Master Thopterist'. I wasn't sure if I had won the games because my deck was just better, or if I played smarter (keeping track of planeswalkers' loyalty, etc), or if my friends were going easy on me and/or underestimating me.

So the Exquisite Inventions deck was originally comprised of:

'Saheeli, The Gifted', or - 'Swag-Heelys, The, grifted' as the planeswalker-combo, who is red-blue and costs 4 cmc, comes in at 4 loyalty of course, +1s to make a servo token which is dope as I can use it to defend her or me, +1s to make the next spell I cast this turn cost X generic mana less where X is the number of artifacts I control which is dank as it helps me cheat in expensive cmc things like scary eldrazi, and the Ultimate -7 to create a token copy of each artefact I currently control - all the tokens have haste which is swert as it allows me to double my board presence and then swing for massive damage (which is what happened when I won each game. I think my high-score swing was 160-something damage doing at both opponents lmao).

'Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer', AKA 'The Dicklad, Scary Engineer' as a possible commander, who is red-blue and costs 6 cmc, and has 'Tokens you control have haste' as well as 'At the beginning of combat, Dicklad creates a 2/1 Myr token, then you choose a token and all other tokens you control turn into that'. Tokens having haste is neat because when Swag-Heelys makes a 'Swervo' and Dicklad makes a Myr, they can of course both attack straight away. But the better ability is of course the token tranmutation. This combined with Saheeli's Ultimate creates tons of tokens, which Brudiclad can all turn into my biggest artefact hitter, I remember that being 'Bosh, Iron Golem' one time - and then proceeded to swing for 160-something damage pkek.

'Tawnos, Apprentice of Urza', affectionately known to me as 'Tawnos Swagmasta Jones', who is red-blue and costs 2 cmc, and has haste, but more importantly has: 'red, blue, tap: copy triggered or activated effect from artefact source you control'. This means that he can copy great effect from any of my artefacts. For example, Blinkmoth Urn - gives people mana equal to the amount of artefacts they control at the beginning of each players precombat main phase, using Tawnos, I could duplicate that effect for myself on anyone's turn, and give myself a metric-crap-ton of mana. Or how about with Unwinding clock - Untaps all artefacts I control during each other player's untap step, with ya boi fresh-T, I could tap all of my mana rocks and float tons of mana at instant speed, then the clock's effect happens, Tawnos copies it and inbetween clock triggers, I float all the mana again, then the second clock trigger happens and I'm free to get mana a third time!... This deck doesn't really have much for me to do with all that, but if I did, ho-ho boy... there'd be some trouble.

'Varchild, Betrayer of Kjeldor' (I don't have a cool name for it as I literally never played it, not even when playing out of the box). Varchild is a Red legendary creature which costs 3 cmc and has the cool effect of creating 1/1 survivor token equal to the amount of damage done to a player that turn, but that player gets them. I know what you're thinking - that's why I didn't play Varchild. Nope, VC's other effects say that those survivor tokens can't be used to block and also can't attack me or my planeswalkers, as well as when VC leaves the battlefield, I get control of all of the survivors. It's all okay, but not great, and since VC and his survivors aren't artefacts, there's not tons I can really do with them. Yes I can turn the survivors into other stuff with Dicklad, but I'm not always gonna have Dicklad around though. So, unfortunately, Varchild, Betrayer of Kjeldor had to go.

Back to the rest of the original deck - obviously artefact and token themed, charged with the main win-strat to instantly, well sorcery-speed-ly double the size of my board and swing in and decimate the lands, swinging for more damage than the combined total of health from the start of the game even, and crushing your opponents leaving nothing standing as the cold, unfeeling machines take over This is done through expertly-crafted synergies that any commander deck should have, but as well as the virtually exponential setup/rebuild mach speeds this deck can cover. Of course there are quicker decks out there that kill on turn 4, but this deck takes it's time to remember that there are other people playing and allows you to interact with them and have some fun... all while ticking away waiting until the prime moment to unleash devastation upon the battlefields, and you've decided that there's been enough chit chat and your bloodlust can be quelled no longer...

Now I want to document and keep at least a little track of the changes I make to this deck. The sideboard should contain cards that have been part of this deck at one time, or another, but aren't in the deck right now.
