Hello and welcome to my Rafiq of the Many Commander deck list.

Rafiq of the Many is one of my all-time favourite legendary creatures, and this deck is primarily centered around him and the Exalted mechanic in the name of bashing people's faces in with huge attackers. The deck runs a couple of evasive creatures, but also has some nifty equipments and enchantments that'll help our attackers connect and bring the pain. To top it all off, the deck features a couple of artifacts, enchantments and counterspells that'll make it harder for opponents to kill us, along with a couple of tutors and card draw to increase consistency.

Below I'll highlight some of the most notable cards and combos the deck has to offer:

• Lu Xun, Scholar General : Lu Xun is a prime card in the deck and combos extremely well with Rafiq of the Many and Finest Hour for lots of card draw and nearly unblockable damage. (He was printed in Commander 2013, so he isn't very expensive ;))
• Medomai the Ageless: Paired with Rafiq of the Many and possibly Finest Hour , an unblocked Medomai can net you up to four extra turns in a row!
• Sublime Archangel: Already a great card in its own right, this card is a fantastic target for a kicked Rite of Replication.
• Sovereigns of Lost Alara: The Sovereigns allow you to fetch strong auras such as Steel of the Godhead, Spirit Mantle and Armadillo Cloak on the fly to make your exalted creatures hard to block.
• Glittering Wish: Fetches a card from the sideboard when needed. This card is incredibly versatile and could fetch anything from a Supreme Verdict to a Progenitor Mimic depending on the situation.
• Invisible Stalker: One of the most evasive creatures in the game, the Stalker wields cards like Sword of Body and Mind exceptionally well, especially when Rafiq is on the battlefield.

This deck is a bit more on the slow side of what I'm used to play. It has some explosive plays for sure, but generally you'll want to sit back and protect yourself behind a "pillow fort" (Ghostly Prison, Crawlspace etc.) until you're ready to swing for big damage. Board wipes are definitely a weakness, which is why the deck has a couple of counterspells, though I normally don't like counters. Remember that this deck is primarily geared towards a casual playgroup - there are more powerful and one-sided Rafiq decks out there if you want something more hard-core :)
