I don't love Standard because of the restricted card selection and I think Wizards pushes it just to sell new card sets. But I decided it would be a challenge and maybe more competitive to build a Standard deck so I built one based off of my Modern deck. It was definitely a tougher build, but here it is.

The deck is a basic Exalted with Double Strike creatures and +X cards to power them up so they can do really big damage to players by turn 4.

First off, always Mulligan until you start with two lands. There is nothing worse than sitting there with one land down while the other guy tears you a new @$$.

Drop Aven Squire or Knight of Glory for Exalted and use Fencing Ace or Silverblade Paladin for Double Strike. Choose one Creature to head up the attack and make him evasive with Spectral Flight or Artful Dodge so you can hit the player not his creatures. Knight of Glory has protection from Black which makes him brutal against most Removal spells and Black decks. Use Inquisitor's Flail to power up your solo attacker and Nearheath Pilgrim to gain Lifelink or use Moment of Heroism to do both. Nothing is more deflating to your opponent than hitting him for 14 with an Exalted Double Strike creature that has Flying and then gaining 14 Life with Lifelink!

No going toe to toe here, only block with Fog Bank. Don't loose Exalted creatures blocking if you don't have to, use Lifelink and take the hits.

Use Smite to destroy big attackers before they do damage, guys never see that one coming. If you attach Curiosity to your main attacker early on it really speeds up your game.

The Sideboard is setup to take on decks with Flying creatures or Control decks. Sub in Invisible Stalker for Fencing Ace on Flying decks and the whole Sideboard for Control decks. It makes for a longer game, but usually a victory. Detention Sphere also ruins Token decks, drop one and clean the board.

I would love your feedback and if you like the deck drop it a +1

So I played the The Kessig Township deck today, and it was really something else. So to keep on my toes, I made a few card changes to speed things up. I pulled Guardians of Akrasa because it costs 3 mana and can't stop everything like Fog Bank. Replaced Shimmering Grotto with Hallowed Fountain to keep mana flowing. I planned on doing this anyway, but resisted the "pay life for mana" thing. With the Lifelink I have, I decided to suck it up and it does speed things up. And finally, I swapped out Silver-Inlaid Dagger for Inquisitor's Flail , it works great when I evade blocking and does 4x damage when equipped to a Double Strike creature for only one more mana, sold.
