Thanks, I was wondering about the Heroes reunion myself because, hey, 7 life is 7 life. But I might not always need it I suppose, whereas I can always use an O-ring. Thanks for the comment and the vote.

I love this idea for a deck, I used to play the silverblade sublime combo too!

You should really try this out vs my new deck "violation of subsection 2.5.28"

The only card I wold change is the angelic benediction. It just isnt enough for your 4 mana. I would recommend an extra silverbalde and sublime each as replacements. MUCH more for your mana!

I thought about that with the Angelic Benediction , it has proved useful though in locking down the one flying creature someone has when I attack, but if I have Rancor or Selesnya Charm out it shouldn't matter. Maybe I will take that advice, thanks!

I'm not sure about card:Heroes' Reunion. I don't mind life gain but, I've never been a fan of cards that just gain life. Maybe a couple of creature with lifelink or Sheltering Word .

I think whoever suggested card:Heroes' Reunion as a sideboard was right. I just think 2 mana that I will usually have for 7 life is worth it, especially when someone thinks they are about to get you for the killing blow, they all out attack, you let it all through, gain 7 life, live by 3, then pummel them on the next turn since they have nothing left. I think it's definitely a sideboard card.

I know that [anegelic benediction] helps with exalted. but what about [suggest:Martial law] in place of it? It taker their best creature out from attacking and defense and you can change to a greater threat if need be. Also [suggest:rest in peace] for the sideboard. It does so much more than [ground seal] imho

I'm seriously considering Rest in Peace because it's pretty devastating, but I settled with Dryad Militant since I can attack with it and it does the job nearly as well.

I took out Angelic Benediction and replaced them with Revenge of the Hunted for some more trample effects. Also I took out the 2 card:Heroes' Reunion in order to put in another Silverblade Paladin and I added Sheltering Word to the sideboard for some life gain and creature protection.

Rest in peace kills all zombie decks.... Its kinda sorta better in every way, seeing as enchantment hate is rarer than creature hate, and the dryad doesn't remove creatures.

Yep! I decided on 3 for now. Got all the cards I needed to finish the deck last night at midnight, ready to playtest it! Thanks you guys for your input and help.

Went 3-2 at FNM. Destroyed the first two rounds and last round (rakdos burn/aggro, golgari zombies, and selesnya ramp). Lost the 3rd and 4th rounds to the same dang deck (azorius jace/terminus/angel/verdict/detention sphere/thragtusk) and I lost to the 3rd one b/c my deck didn't play out correctly two times in a row, and lost the 4th b/c even though I drew awesome hands my oppent got board wipes early (one game I got verdict and terminus played on me TWICE EACH in the first 6 turns).

I think the deck is solid, I just really need to find something to counter the damn azorius deck that half of FNM is running (let's toss all the blue/white big mythics and rares from this set and the last in a deck and we get to win!).

Made some updates, added Arbor Elf x4 as well as switched out 1 Loxodon Smiter for 1 Sublime Archangel . I also added 2x Garruk, Primal Hunter to get some card draws as well as some tokens to justify adding Rootborn Defenses . Going to test it on Friday.

I'd be more reluctant to call it an Exalted deck when Sublime Archangel is the only exalted card in there (aside from the land i suppose). Not trying to be a jerk, just my 2 cents.

Well, the Cathedral of War is still in there, but you are right, originally it also had Aven Squire , Knight of Glory , and some others in there, but I have revised and changed it as I've been playing it at FNM. The end goal of the deck is still to get the angel out though and get the exalted numbers up.
