Sideboard

This is a very down to basics standard mono-blue deck. The general idea is to use my scry and freezing power to accumulate devotion while assembling Master of Waves + Polymorphous Rush to power up my unblocked waves for an unexpected win. I love hearing any suggestions, but what I'm truly looking for is amazing sideboard suggestions, to deal with the current metas of Azban, Mardu and the like. In my recent play tests against both, Iv'e only lost one out of ten.

Battlefield Thaumaturge is a crazy enabler for this deck. He makes Polymorphous Rush an amzingly easy thing, as well as making Voyage's End an overpowered Unsummon. He also pushes through damage with his agressive body.

Bident of Thassa gives some beatiful devotion as well as the threat of draw power, which makes the opponent think twice about blocks and attacks. The activated ability can also enable an unblocke huge swing with an unexpected Polymorphous Rush or the like.

Dakra Mystic is a beautiful little devotion dork, helping me assemble my combo while partially controlling my opponents hand. It's also nice to throw out the block an declare the activated ability, a nice 2-for-1 for me.

I used to hate Encrust but that UU devotion out of a 3 drop in standard is only found here and in Wall of Frost, and this targeted removal is infinitely more useful. This shuts down the opponents biggest threat almost every time, and helps me get that devotion high for that huge Master of Waves drop or huge Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx pull for the apparent win. I'm thinking of trying out a couple of Hubris in exchange for Voyage's End for the potential re usability of this card.

Frost Lynx is a beautiful card, one of my favorite blue commons in standard since Cloudfin Raptor left. This freezing ability shits them down, sets them up for a nice encrust, and also has the sneaky ability of being an elemental to recieve the bonus +1/+1 from Master of Waves.

Battlefield Thaumaturge + Icy Blast . Need I say more?

Omenspeaker always feels weak to me, but that early scry 2 dig for land or late game finding the bomb just can't be passed up.

Vortex Elemental is a really fun card. He can trade with anybody on the board, especially if you have the mana to get his second ability off. This makes him feel like a removal spell built into a creature, something I really dig. It goes without saying that the fact that this devotion dork gets +1/+1s from Master of Waves is just an extra bonus.

Just to be clear, Polymorphous Rush is one of the most versatile cards out there. Imagine yourself down to 4 life, at the end of your opponents turn he brought in a Wingmate Roc and bird buddy and has 2 Siege Rhinos as well as 6 soldiers from an elspeth. You have 8 waves, 1 Master of Waves and a Battlefield Thaumaturge. Oh, and your opponent is at 45 life.Seems hopeless, yeah? Not so. Say you have 9 mana open. With Battlefield Thaumaturge ability, you have the ability to cast Polymorphous Rush with it's strive for a total of 8 Creatures. Let's turn all of your waves into Wingmate Rocs. All of a sudden your swinging for 24 in the air.Oh and gaining 1 life for each attacking creature. For each Wingmate Roc you Control. You just gained 64 life while swinging for 24 in the air. 88 point swing in one turn. The sky is the limit.

Anyway, please give me some feedback, this deck is my baby. Thank you planeswalkers!
