This is a standard, Blue Mill/Control deck that's fueled with the suffering and my hatred to Pay to Win players. The idea of the deck is to be cheap, easy to pilot & strong. You'll need to get Delirium online by turn 3/4, block everything your opponent sends your way, or send it back to their hand. You should be able to hold your opponent at bay while setting the delirium up and slowly working your way to the 7/8 point where you will be unstoppable. There are some issues going against fast decks which I'm trying to figure out. After the first idea of this deck, and doing Aether Revolt game day my original idea didn't hold up to well coming 14/21 out ranking Golgari Gearhulk and Copy Cat decks. I found a deck that helped me put in the missing pieces to help this deck flow incredibly well now and it really is a deck I think can shut down current meta decks.
Creatures
Consulate Skygate
The budget blocker that can stop the main weakness to the deck, flying.
Manic Scribe
The main mill driver of the deck. Mixed with
Engulf the Shore
you can get more milling out of them but don't thoughtlessly block with this card, protect it and get that delirium.
Minister of Inquiries
Nice blocker that gives 2 and on turn 2 can start milling your opponent having two bounce of each other is a fun thing.
Filigree Familiar
This is life gain, card draw on death. Mainly a chump blocker but it helps get that sweet, sweet delirium.
Pilgrim's Eye
Land gaining! Plus a 1/1 blocker with flying but it's all about that land... And delirium.
Engulf the Shore
This card I use to take the absolute @#%$. Though it is meant to be used as a protection when you're trying to get to the 7 mark. Counterspell your way as much as you can unless you suspect you might need to keep them late game and get more value out of the Scribes and Ministers.
Shrewd Negotiation
&
Confiscation Coup
"Oh! You worked hard to get your Gideon or Gearhulk? Man it looks real nice. Here! have this Pilgrims eye in exchange.
