Everything The Light Touches is a deck that a friend of mine, LiveForChaos, recommended that I work on. The deck's name is a reference to the movie 'The Lion King.' The reference is a line in the movie is 'Everything the light touches is our kingdom.'

How this deck works is it uses Splinter as the win condition. At this point you may or may not be wondering how Splinter could possibly win you the game?

The main combo to win in this deck is to get out Liquimetal Coating/Myr Landshaper to make one of their lands an artifact, then you will target that 'artifact' with Splinter and exile that land plus every land that they have in their hand library and graveyard with that name.

How I play this deck is I Mulligan until I have at least 2 of the 3 cards for the combo (Mana Dork--Splinter--Liquimetal Coating/Myr Landshaper) in my opening hand. Then I just wait until I draw the third card or use Dissenter's Deliverance cycling to draw more cards.

Best Combo

T1: Land, Mana Dork

T2: Land, Liquimetal Coating/Myr Landshaper

T3: Land, Tap "Land Artificer" targeting their land, cast Splinter targeting their land

Its really that simple, and for just under $10, I'd say that this is a budget deck.
