Hey, guys this is a deck I decided to build for the last standard showdowns since the previous ones I kept losing to control and mid-range decks. So I built this mono-blue counters deck which won me the showdown even though there are better counters in standard my deck consists of the cheaper ones as it is still nearly just as effective and a lot cheaper than buying expensive ones.

The deck pairs well against most other control standard decks as you are usually able to out control them with counters. The weakness of this deck's matchups is aggro decks that win by turn 5-6 as to survive against them you need either Engulf the Shore or to flip Thing in the Ice   early but other than that it has gone very well for me.
