So I like to build decks based on key pieces I already have in my collection that are a lot of fun to play and back in the day I built a cleric and demon deck based on Scion of Darkness and Dark Supplicant. While I liked the theme I found it to be clunky, the scion's graveyard ability offered very little reward and was generally uncompetitive in my play group. I noticed a couple of relatively recent card releases Rite of Belzenlok and Archfiend's Vessel so I thought I would revisit this deck and see if I cant make it more enjoyable/competitive to play. The adjusted version can regularly put a turn 2 threat on the board Abyssal Persecutor, Rite of Belzenlok or the 5/5 demon from graveyard play of Archfiend's Vessel if your opponent attacks you or wants to block your 1/1 lifelink. Rite of Belzenlok synergises well with Rotlung Reanimator by giving you token clerics and a sac outlet, late game removal of Abyssal Persecutor shouldn't prove too difficult with sac outlets fromRite of Belzenlok demon token and Ayli, Eternal Pilgrim as well as a bounce option from Orzhov Charm. In short a deck that seems lots of fun, it requires more testing required but early days it feels less clunky than the previous version.

For anyone who is against Dark Ritual in casual groups, I would probably replace with Village Rites, replace Children of Korlis with some extra lands to bring up to 23 and look to replace 2-4 Rotlung Reanimator's with Lingering Souls for some extra fodder.
