I wanted to create a build-on-budget deck and also I wanted to build something red and green.

After I noticed the Predator Dragon the idea of devouring some creatures to let one dragon become a quite big one came into my mind. In the deck there are a lot of 1 Mana cards. With the elves I am trying to generate a big mana pool as soon as possible to bring out the dragons. I can use Browbeat or Commune with Nature to search for them if the oppenent doesnt take 5 dmg. With Dragon Fodder and all the other low-cost creatures - so is the plan - I will be able to generate a good army of creatures my Predator Dragon can devour while entering the battlefield. In the following categories I will try to give you a closer look on what that deck is all about and which strategy it contains.

I am looking for advices and tips for cards that I should add to my maybeboard. Or in general for helpful words on what I can make and plan better.

Edit: I noticed that that deck is not modern legal. So thats why I am also looking for a replacement playset for Wild Growth to make that deck modern legal. There are thoughts about Utopia Sprawl as a replacement for it now!

Thanks in advance for taking the time!

Creatures

Arbor Elf can be used to untap a target forest. For tapping the elf I can add one extra green mana to my manapool. I also thought about untapping a with Wild Growth enchanted land, so that there are two extra green manas I could add to my mana pool - but I am still looking for a modern legal replacement.

Llanowar Elves I can use as well as a low-cost creature for devouring when Predator Dragon enters the field. I am also able to generate an extra green mana for tapping the card.

Predator Dragon is the one and only death machine in this deck. It is important to use the devour 2 to let it become a great killer with flying and haste. So the main idea is to bring as much creatures onto the field as possible - dont forget about Dragon Fodder which can produce two 1/1 goblin tokens that can be eaten too and also taste delicious.

Wild Cantor is good because of the choice to pay the cast with a red or a green mana. Its primary just for the devour of a dragon in case I still have one mana left in my pool. The effect to create a mana of any color for sacrificing it isnt quite helpful and shouldnt be used often in the upcoming games.

Instants

Lightning Bolt gives the possibility to eliminate a target oppenent creature - or at least to give some dmg to that creature - or to reduce the opponents life points.

Sorcerys

Browbeat will be used to "search" for the Predator Dragon - the library is getting smaller and smaller. The opponent player can decide to take 5 dmg instead, which is quite nice as well.

Sylvan Scrying: there may will be the problem that there arent enough mountains to bring out the dragon. This card helps to look up for a land - must not be a basic land - I may will need for casting the dragon as soon as possible.

Commune with Nature is the guarantee to look for the dragon.

Dragon Fodder will be used to create those two tokens before casting the dragon so that the Predator Dragon can devour them both.

Enchantments

Wild Growth - HELP WANTED!!! LOOKING FOR A REPLACEMENT PLAYSET!!!

Lands

Rugged Highlands do have the bonus of that one life point youll get when the highlands come into play. This negates that the highlands come into play tapped. Everytime the highlands are tapped, I can decide to add a green or a red mana to my manapool. That gives some flexibility to the manapool.

Evolving Wilds can bring out that one mountain or that one forest youll need for your play in the next turn (search for a basic land, it comes into play tapped).
