Mono-blue merfolk. Keeping the average cmc as low as I can to make up for one of Blue's biggest weaknesses, speed the deck also Anthems a ton which is good beacuse Merfolk are tiny! Cards like preordane and serem visons help me dig a little while Coat of Arms and others give the walking fish a boost. And ofcourse the deck wants to slow others down, so tempo cards like Arm with AEther are very much needed.

Big Draw Show

Other than the above mentioned 1 drop spells I have big draw cards like Bident of Thassa and Kindred Discovery to pick up the slack as well as a number of Merfolk that will draw me cards Scroll Thief being a main one here.

Evasion Show

The evasion in this deck comes from Herald of Secret Streams making nice combos with Door of Destinies and Sage of Fables.

Quicksilver Fountain and Spreading Seas as well as others is there to make more islands. Master of the Pearl Trident and Lord of Atlantis make sure I can swing in with every last Merfolk without worry or chumps getting in the way.

Another card which I think helps blue a lot is Glaring Spotlight it can allow me to target Hexproof creatures and when I need to I can make my own creatures both Hexproof and unblockable. It's protection and aggression at the drop of a hat.
