Eternal Liege (Modern MTG Deck)

Mana Ramp into big creatures with big abilities. Admonition Angel with Primeval Titan or mana ramping cards to exhile your opponent's board. Get Liege of the Tangle out to create an army of 8/8's. In the meanwhile, keep your opponent at bay with Day of Judgment, Condemn, and Wall of Omens.

11/9/10- Removed the Terra Eternals and the Leyline of Sanctity in favor of Linvala and Ascetism. I'm not completely sold on the Ascetism yet, but it seems like it would be especially powerful with the Admonition Angel. It would stop any Journey to Nowhere or Doom Blade/Removal, and it would counter DoJ with being able to regen the Angel and leave him on the board. Also, haven't been seeing a whole lot of RDW in my meta-game, so the Leyline wasn't being sideboarded in a whole lot.

11/25/10- Finally got rid of Liege of the Tangle. They simply were too slow to get out and attack with. Instead, I put in Iona, for one more mana, who can change a game immediately on entrance and I also put in Steel Hellkite for some more removal. I also removed one Harrow and one Condemn for the changes. This also gives me a couple more creatures to increase the chances of drawing more and playing more.
