The deck is a value deck based on Eternal Witness plus the great Displace. Since Witness can return Displace every time I target her with it, I use these two to gain a lot of profit from various etb-abilities, where Mystic Snake is the main way here as it allows me to counter quite a bit.
Some special mentions:
Battlefield Thaumaturge: What is it good for? Absolutely one thing: Make your Displace cost U. It's ok in the early and midgame, but devastating for your opponent once you have established a boardstate.
Coiling Oracle: A great little creature with a very good enter-the-battlefield-ability. Fits into this deck awesomely.
Mystic Snake: Any questions here?
Mulldrifter: A flying creature that can draw me cards. And it also synergizes with displaces in that I can evoke it, then flicker it and draw four cards while keeping the 2/2-flyer (thanks to dahhahm for showing me that combo).
Kitchen Finks: great card and a very good life gain engine for this deck. Also, it's basically immortal here.
Regal Caracal recently replaced Thragtusk. It's basifally the same here, and I needed Tusk for another deck of mine.
Displace: A card I fell in love with when I opened it. This is so cool. I know Ghostly Flicker is strictly better, but i don't have any artifacty to blink, so it doesn't make the slightest difference.
