This deck was built after the announcement of Amonket's white Zombie tribal. Although there are strong Grixis Zombies, I already have a Breya deck so wanted to stick with Esper.

When looking through the Esper legendary creatures, Ertai, the Corrupted jumped out. Reusable sacrifice and counter spells seemed like a great option in lieu of a zombie tribal commander.
