I've always liked how Gonti worked and after Hostage Taker was spoiled I knew I wanted both of them in a deck together. I knew I wanted it to be a flicker deck so I could abuse the effects as much as possible and have panharmonicon to take 2-3 things at a time for each ETB trigger. The rest was all up to what awesome ETBs were available and what support there was for the colors I wanted to use. Ended up esper because of acrobatic maneuver and the need for removal and getting artifact and enchantment destruction.
