This deck's aim is to lock your opponent out of their game plan and hopeful be able to beat down with some bears!

I went with Esper because a turn 2 Meddling Mage is best utilized with a turn 1 IoK/Thoughtseize. And black also gives us access to Tidehollow Scullers and Fatal Pushes. Blue white gives us all stars such as Reflector Mage and Spell Queller. Thus, Esper.

I wanted Dusk/Dawn to be an additional synergy. Many great disruption creatures are 2 powered, which has problems attacking through bigger creatures and are easily killed. Dusk/Dawn would allow for amazing one-sided wraths and a way to recur creatures back to our hand from the graveyard. Thus, my focus on power x<3.

Reflector Mages and Remands work very well with Meddling Mages. I think the general idea is to set Meddling Mage against their answers/creature removals and let the other creatures rip up their game plan. But if they don't play much creature removal or you have addition MM's, name their wincon.

Telepathy is a one-of because drawing 2 is terrible. But having some access to it allows for a bit of a crutch to help pilot this deck. Knowing what to name with Meddling Mage/when to use discard spells/when to use Counterspells a very skill intensive component of this deck. Information is king.

I have little experience with creating great mana bases. An Esper list that wants to play many cards as early as possible has the problem of taking a lot of pain from a fetch/shock mana base. I would rather not self inflict damage since many of our creatures aren't great blockers. The fast lands are probably more ideal than more fetching for this list. However, many of our 2 drops require 2 different colors, which can strain the mana and be tricky.

Please give me any thoughts and suggestions. This idea has been an obsession of mine lately.
