A curse-themed EDH deck! The goal is to play Enduring Ideal and coast to victory, though Curse of Misfortunes is almost as good. Ertai gives us the best colours for curses and tutoring, while also providing an ability that can protect our key cards for very little mana investment.

Enduring Ideal

Once you play the Ideal, you should be able to win in short order so long as you keep your opponent in check. Fortunately, Ertai's ability lets you thwart any attempts to stop you without having to play spells of your own.

If you're on death's door when you play the Ideal, by all means, save yourself with the appropriate card. But if you have a turn to spare, grab Paradox Haze with the initial casting. Then on your next turn, grab Curse of Misfortunes on the first upkeep, and then Curse of Death's Hold and Overwhelming Splendor on the second. On subsequent turns, Curse of Thirst will provide the win condition, with Copy Enchantment providing a second copy if desired.

Combos

Curse of Death's Hold + Overwhelming Splendor = No creatures for your opponents, now or ever.

Curse of Death's Hold + Dovescape = You know what? No noncreatures, either!

Dovescape + Solitary Confinement = Untouchable... so long as you can pay the Confinement's upkeep.

Dovescape + Guile = All the bird tokens you could ever want!

Ertai, the Corrupted + Lullmage Mentor = Each counterspell fuels the next.

Bitterblossom + Ertai, the Corrupted = Free counterspell for just 1 life per turn!
