Ertai, the Corrupted - Miserable.dec

Commander / EDH Competitive Control Stax WUB (Esper)

WaveAmbassador

The Stax:
Anowon, the Ruin Sage / The Abyss - Force every player to sacrifice a Creature during their turn.

Arcane Laboratory + Ertai, the Corrupted / Patron Wizard - Arcane Laboratory restrict the number of spells that could be played each turn to one for each player. Lock is established by using Ertai, the Corrupted and Patron Wizard to counter that only one spell your opponents could play each turn.

Aura of Silence - Taxes your opponents ability to play Artifacts and Enchantments. Also act as a way to destroy one when needed to.

Ghostly Prison / Propaganda - Tax your opponents for attacking you, restricting their mana and ability to cast spells if they will to attack you.

Cursed Totem - Forbid use of Creatures activated abilities, even mana abilities. Good lock against decks which depends on mana Creatures.

Dream Tides - Tax players to untap their Creatures. Total lockdown on Green Creatures

Porphyry Nodes - Let you destroy a Creature with the least power each turn.

Static Orb / Winter Orb - Soft lock which slows down everyone by restricting the amount of Lands or Permanents which could be untap each turn.

Juntu Stakes / Meekstone - Locks down Creatures according to their power ( Juntu Stakes locks down power 1 or less; Meekstone locks down power 3 or greater)

Kismet + Stasis + Vedalken Mastermind - Combo set provides an eternal lock on everyone but you. Kismet affects Artifacts, Creatures and Lands by opponents; Stasis keep those permanents tapped; Vedalken Mastermind will return Stasis back to your hand so you still get your untap phase back at your turn

Stasis + Unwinding Clock + Mycosynth Lattice - Lets you untap all your permanents on other's upkeeps while they can not.

The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale / Pendrell Mists - Impose upkeep cost on Creatures. Especially powerful Creature sweep as you locks down mana, resulting in your opponents being unable to pay for the upkeep

Smokestack - The reason behind the namesake, Stax. Anyone who had been playing MtG long enough would have heard of this card. For the benefit of those who do not know, it controls the board by forcing players to sacrifice permanents equal to the number of soot counters on it, which you could choose to add at your upkeep

Sphere of Resistance / Trinisphere - Tax players for casting spells

Suppression Field - Taxes players for playing nonmana activated abilities, like fetchlands and Planeswalkers abilities

Crucible of Worlds + Strip Mine / Wasteland - Lock your opponents lands out of the game

Deadeye Navigator + Draining Whelk - Solid Counter lock that comes with a nice beater.

Combos:
Deadeye Navigator / Phantasmal Image + Palinchron - infinite mana
Deadeye Navigator + Archaeomancer + Time Warp - Infinite turns

Win Cons:
Blue Sun's Zenith for Lethal
Venser, Shaper Savant + Deadeye Navigator + Infinite Mana
