The objective is simple: disable your opponents most potent resources, and before they're able to deal with the restrictions, drop a few more. If they're not quick to react, they'll soon find themselves trapped in a labyrinth that will frustrate them -- while they also bleed out.

DISCLAIMER: This is only a Spike-y deck -- it can trip up some Tier 2 decks and the occasional Tier 1, but I don't think Erebos can ever reach the highest competitive levels. The fun thing about this deck is that I can bring it to a competitive pod, or a more casual pod. The casual group will have a hard time dealing with the deck, but it won't win outright, so they will still get to play. If I can only bring one deck, this one is my go-to.

If you're looking for a mono-black deck that's full-on competitive, you need to go a tier higher and consider Sidisi, Undead Vizier .
