About the deck

This deck is my take on a mono-black, Erebos, God of the Dead , combo-control deck for multiplayer EDH. If you've ever played with an old Yawgmoth's Bargain / Necropotence deck and is looking for something similar in EDH, this is the go-to deck. Better and faster than any Erebos list out there.

In brief, the deck runs lots of mana accelerators (e.g., Dark Ritual , Cabal Ritual , Mana Crypt , Mana Vault , Mox Diamond , Chrome Mox , etc.) to get Erebos on the battlefield as soon as possible. Once Erebos or other card advantage spell hits the battlefield, you can start developing your board until the point you can combo with Aetherflux Reservoir + Paradox Engine , Waste Not + mass discard ( Ill-Gotten Gains , Death Cloud , Myojin of Night's Reach ), Ill-Gotten Gains + Leyline of the Void , and/or Helm of Obedience + Leyline of the Void .
