Theme: Heliod watches you all your life as the God of the Sun, Athreos guides your passage to the underworld, where Erebos rules over you for eternity.

Concept: Slow down the game and restrict players ability to attack and play cards. Authority of the consuls to gain life and slow opponent down. Heliod + Sphere of safety to churn out enchantment tokens and up the cost for players to attack you. Aura of Silence to increase mana cost further (could be relegated to side bar, but its good for utility). Grim guardians, Fate Unravellers, Underworld coinsmith (Nyx fleece ram soon) to further slow down the game and put pressure on your opponent. Erebos and Athreos to further pressure your opponent (life gain stall and Pyrrhic victories on most creatures your opponent can destroy via instants).

Win condition (one option): Currently extinguish hope to board wipe and attack, most often it is simply drawing one's last breath on fate unraveller or grim guardian constellation.

Win condition (ideal option): Exquisite blood and sanguine bond "infinite" combo (not actually infinite, as they are triggered abilities and end upon death because after each card triggers, health is evaluated on the stack, if 0, player loses.) Any constellation effect can achieve victory with this combo, including health gain from utility creature such as herald of the pantheon, nyx fleece ram, and even 1 offs like Kambal, the consul of allocation, heck son, even the last enchantment coming into play can cause the ability to trigger, and sometimes trigger both exquisite and bond at once causing two parallel loops, in theory.

I've probably forgotten something here, but let me know what other cool and interesting cards I could include. I am mostly low budget, but I will look into anything, and perhaps save up to get something special.

Taking out: Open the Armory - only have one aura, no equipment. Gift of Immortality - without open the armory, might not really be worth the ability. Tutors can be relegated to better enchantments. Naturalize and Plummet - not very good one offs, return to dust is better for the moment, especially with the heavy artifacts from the last expansion.

Putting in: Rites of Flourishing more card draw for me, weighing the options as I am concerned with my opponents with fast decks, but combo with Fate Unraveler while I await either tutors or my two newest cards that offer me a win condition. Privileged Position umm.... Hexproof for all other permanents. Pretty goddamn useful. Win condition being put in: Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond they trigger each other until your opponent has no health. Very useful with this kind of deck.
