Ephara, God of the Loaded Hand

Commander / EDH Multiplayer WU (Azorius)

ArmadilloAl

Maybeboard

My current favorite EDH deck. Ephara is incredibly hard to keep away for long, and the rest of the deck is filled with ways to keep the cards flowing. When the deck runs well, I'll often have 16-17 lands in play by the end of the game and never run out of ways to use it all.

Most of the creatures, and many spells, provide the ability to play creatures on my opponents' turns to maximize the draws you get with Ephara, since it can trigger on every upkeep.

There are a few sweepers in case anything gets out of hand, a few spot removal spells, but for the most part, I try to have as few staples as possible in favor of more thematic spells. For example, Spell Crumple is the only counter in the deck that doesn't somehow trigger Ephara.

The most frequent win condition is probably Mistmeadow Witch removing all of my opponent's blockers for several turns while I beat with a pile of dorks and tokens.
