Ephara, God of the Polis

This deck is all about trying to max out your ETB triggers to keep your opponents in check, whilst rewarding you with extra card draws each turn.

Turns 1/2 will be spent ramping so you can drop Ephara, God of the Polis by turn 3. The next few turns should then be spent ramping with Kor Cartographer or Solemn Simulacrum - drawing a card each time you do so - and also reacting to anyone who tries to disrupt your board. Mid-game will be about trying to stay alive until you draw into Peregrine Drake + Deadeye Navigator or Eldrazi Displacer . Alternatively, an Archaeomancer + Ghostly Flicker - or any similar cards - can replace the Deadeye Navigator.

You can easily recur counterspells with Archaeomancer or Salvager of Secrets + any blink effect to help protect your creatures, and Knight-Captain of Eos can help you against more aggro match-ups. Whitemane Lion and Stonecloaker are cheap and effective ways of drawing cards on your opponents turns when you have excess mana.

Try not to drop Peregrine Drake until you can protect it, as it's one of the more important creatures in the deck. Once you have infinite mana, you can just dig or tutor for Walking Ballista to win the game.
