Entering the battlefield over and over again

Modern Competitive GWU (Bant) Midrange

Scyllathepris

Sideboard

I'm a huge nerd for flickering (A.K.A. blinking) creatures, and this is the strongest deck I've been able to create with it. Sideboard suggestions and recommendations are greatly appreciated

Mainboard Show

Flickerwisp is an obvious pick. You can't have a flicker deck without flickerwisp

Restoration Angel is just a slightly better flickerwisp, though it has a less versatile ETB effect.

Spell Queller is a strong way to counter anything (play it and immediately flicker it to exile one spell permanently and one spell until the LTB effect goes) and can be used whenever

Thragtusk let's us gain some life back after fetching and shocking our lands, and gives us a decent creature too.

Blade Splicer is some strong agro and surprisingly effective for a more aggressive strategy

Wall of Omens is good draw power and a decent blocker. Being able to churn it out turn 2 makes things all the better

Cloudshift, Otherworldly Journey, Conjurer's Closet, and Eerie Interlude make the deck work like a well oiled machine. Being able to flicker any creature at any time helps to prevent aginst targeted removal and to get more ETB effects going.

Path to Exile is an amazing removal spell, and can be used for extra land if needed.

Isochron Scepter gives us infinite blinks, so it's pretty much a no-brainer.

Panharmonicon doubles the ETB effects early-ish, making everything so much easier to do.

Sideboard Show

Card: stony silence deals with lantern control, affinity, and tron.

Back to Nature fights the ever present enchantment deck that tops my LGS.

Leyline of Sanctity stops burns, spell based win-cons, and discard, which is particularly strong in my meta.

Rest in Peace is the premiere graveyard hate card, and saves me a lot of trouble

Austere Command is strong for, well, most decks, and is especially strong in my meta with an enchantress deck up top.

What if I'm on a budget though? Show

updated decklist 3/25 Show

Sideboarded Ghost Quarter for Temple Garden. Ghost Quarter worked out amazing when it was needed, but very poorly when it wasn't. So I sideboarded it for some green mana to cast Thragtusk

Replaced an Island with a Forest. Again, for green mana

Removed Venser, the Sojourner from the deck entirely. Venser just ended up being more of a flashy tool than anything else. People run heavy defense so rarely that the guy was borderline useless.

Replaced Stonehorn Dignitary with Vapor Snag. The Stonehorn was very effective when I got him out and blinked, but it ultimately was too difficult to get him out successfully when I fight the fast decks.
