Enraging the Locus of Rage

Commander / EDH Ramp RG (Gruul)

Shrazik

When I started playing Magic, Zendikar was the newest set that you could get. One of the first mechanics that i messed with was landfall. Being able to use your own lands as weapons struck me as a cool and creative idea. Needless to say when they announced that we were returning to Zendikar, I was overjoyed. Playing landfall again is very nostalgic for me and everyone else who played during Zendikar block.

Operating this deck seems simple enough; play lands and smash face. However, we have to keep in mind that the majority of our deck is lands and the possibility of getting flooded is likely. Not only that but, sequencing your land drops to get the most value out of them with be a key aspect of keeping up the assault once you have a landfall ability.

I hope that this blast from the past helps you guys to explore other ways to weaponize the uncommon aspects of the game(lands, life, graveyard, etc). Like always I welcome all suggestions and criticism.
