Golos doubling up with energy for a potent punch. How fast can you find Progenitus or Atraxa, or pull off Maze's End?

Why energy? This is actually a 5 color Energy deck at its heart, with Golos at the helm. What else does Golos do? Enter Maze's End alongside Aetherworks Marvel for doubling up on synergy. Marvel and Golos' 2nd ability are nearly the same payoffs with different activation costs. What brings it all together? Energy and land generation on ETB triggers, and a great adaptive flicker package for repeated value. Win with gates or huge beaters, with multiple adaptive paths to get there. Just don't keep less than 3 energy cards in an opening hand if you plan to go the energy route.

  • Yarok, the Desecrated - Double land ETB triggers (Combos with Horn of Greed, Tatyova, Field of the Dead, Landfall in Omnath, Phylath, Rampaging Baloths
  • Explore - Play additional land and cantrip (Combos with this entire section)
  • Growth Spiral - Play additional land and cantrip (Combos with this entire section)
  • Omnath and Phylath - Go wide with Tokens and big beater threats (Combos with ETB and Extra Lands sections)

  • Deadeye Navigator - Flickers any and all creatures and enables infinite mana

  • Thassa, Deep-Dwelling - Conjurer's Closet on an indestructible body that doubles as a beater

Energy:

  • Attune with Aether - 1 energy and a basic land tutor for 1 green, most common color in the deck
  • Harnessed Lightning - Generates 3 energy and is an outlet for any amount of energy to kill a big beater without indestructible
  • Glimmer of Genius - Scry 2, draw 2, gain 2 energy at instant speed for 4 - finds and draws lands or energy cards
  • Decoction Module - 1 energy on your creature ETB, Mana outlet to protect your creatures (Combos with entire ETB and Flicker sections)
  • Aetherworks Marvel - Big payoff for energy and grants 1 energy when permanents hit your graveyard (Combos with energy generators in ETB and Flicker sections and double activations with Manifold Key)
  • Demon of Dark Schemes - minor board wipe on ETB, can gain lots of energy when wiping tokens or small creatures, energy payoff to reanimate anyone's creatures when they die (Combos with ETB and Flicker sections for bigger boardwipes while generating energy for reanimation targets)
  • Lightning Runner - Generates 2 energy when attacking with double strike, with energy payoff for another combat phase with all the big beaters
  • Bristling Hydra - Generates 3 energy on ETB, energy payoff to make big hexproof beater (Combos with Flicker section for large energy generation)
  • Whirler Virtuoso - Generates 3 energy on ETB, energy payoff to make 1/1 flying chump blockers (Combos with Flicker section and Decoction Module for large energy generation)
  • Rogue Refiner - Draw a card and generates 2 energy on ETB (Combos with Flicker section for large energy generation and card advantage)
