INTRODUCTION

When building decks it was always my intention to have an answer for anything in my deck, truth be told, i learned that, most of the time, you wont have the answers when you needed them them the most.So rather than looking for combos i now try to make every hand a good hand nvm. of game stage.

So recently i saw a video of "Top 10 Worst mtg cards i immediatly react on in mtg edh" or something like that. card:Tooth and Nails was the first inspiration for this deck. Then i went to EDHREC and looked for monogreen commanders and immediatly saw Omnath, Locus of Mana and in my opinion this card is absolutly mental and broken. Especially in commander where progressing cards are of such a big value anyway.Maybe even worse than Sol Ring which is ridiculous on its own.

So now i got the basic flair of the deck, i wanna have 1. As much supply of mana as possible.2. Draw cards to a good degree.3. Heavy, (scaling) creatures.

So i quickly mashed something together wich google searches and i was suprised by the good mana curve.I playtested it and i have (not yet) lost a game.I tested it against my own decks, against Top Decks from Tappedout and against a couple friends decks.

So here i list a couple of tactics and combos that i pulled of so far.

MECHANICS

Start of the game: Mulligan till i have 3 Forest/card:Llanovar Elves/Functional Reprints. I usually have it in the first hand anyway so its not that big of a deal.

Here is a place i would love some help, i have not played the deck very much yet, so maybe im missing on some good combos etc.

CARDS

Sol Ring Mental, and broken, the only reason you would not run it in commander is you hate it and want it banned.

card:Tooth and nails Destruction, this is mostly a win draw, unless countered.

card:Llanovar Elves Mora mana a turn means stronger Locus and stronger creatures, let me know if i missed a functional reprint.

Primordial Hydra Also broken, idk why this is so cheap.

Silklash Spider To be removed, have yet to find a card i want.

Wall of Mulch Probably to be removed, i have just used it for cycling so far.

Collective Voyage I love this card, because it scales great with game stage, it gives a huge advantage early and late game it's a win draw. Have to use it when opponent is mana burnt tho.

Explore To be removed, i think its not worth the spot. Alternatives appreciated.

Gaea's Cradle Can easily be removed. I play with proxies, so i don't really care, but if you wanted to rebuild this you can easily replace it with a basic forest.

Mana Reflection Do i have to say anything about that?

Vernal Bloom The same as Mana Reflection but cheaper.

Zendikar Resurgent The same as Mana Reflection but more expensive.

card:Quicksilver Amulett Probably don't need this cause i never struggle with mana. Ideas for alternatives/replacers welcome.

The rest of the cards are just untapping lands, draw cards and heavy creatures.

REPLACEMENTS

I replaced Autumnal Gloom   with card:Thrunn, the last troll in my physical deck, but now i can't find either of them on the tappedout version, so i gotta compare wich one i replaced in the near future.

CONCLUSION

I love it, one of the most brutal decks i have made so far. It is not perfect yet but i have achieved the goal, and the concept of my idea works in practice which i am pretty proud of

I would love to hear about your results testing it against your own decks and improvement ideas,

Greetings Exotryptan
