Shahrazad makes you play a Magic subgame with your opponents using your libraries as the new deck for the subgame. The loser of the subgame loses half of his or her life in the main game.

NOTE: this deck is designed to be the least fun deck to play against. It is designed to create some of the longest and most annoying games to ever happen in Magic.

This deck is designed to hold off early game until you can retrieve Shahrazad by drawing, with Mystical Tutor, or with Call to Mind. The idea is to cast it with Twincast, Izzet Guildmage, or Panoptic Mirror to cause misery for everyone (after the first subgame ends, the next one on the stack triggers and you go at it again!). You can cast it in the subgames too to make everyone suffer more.

Since that (and lightning bolt) are the only ways to harm your opponents, Elixir of Immortality is used to ensure that not only do you gain life if you lose a subgame, but that Shahrazad and other cards are shuffled back into your library to use again.

The ideal combo involves Panoptic Mirror with Time Warp, giving you infinite turns. With those turns you will play subgames until you kill your opponents with Shahrazad or Lightning Bolt. If you are losing the subgames, just draw until you get Elixir of Immortality to gain some life and try again.

Jace, Memory Adept is used to mill your opponents, limiting the cards that they can use in the subgames.
