I am trying Shalai, Voice of Plenty as the commander of this deck for awhile to see if she works better in my meta then Selvala. Baiscally I trade off the card draw for the table and the added ramp for additonal protection of my creatures (specifically my enchantresses) and built in anthem for when i have additional mana.

This is a green white enchantress deck based on Selvala, Explorer Returned . I use Selvala because she offers both card draw and ramp until I can get my enchantress engine online.

Once this deck gets going it is very common and possible to draw 3 to 7 cards a turn. The main draw engine is based off using enchantress’s and drawing additional cards when one of the 39 different enchantments are played in this deck. To start the drawing combo one or more of the following cards need to be on the board: Argothian Enchantress , Eidolon of Blossoms , Enchantress's Presence , Mesa Enchantress , Satyr Enchanter and, Verduran Enchantress . I also use Courser of Kruphix as pseudo card draw. Courser of Kruphix, works well with Selvala, Explorer Returned guaranteeing I always have a non-land card on top of my library so I gain the additional green mana and life when I use her ability.

Removal Show

1 Aura of Silence Solid artifact or enchantment removal plus slows down decks based on artifact or enchantments.
2 Aura Shards really helps to keep the board clean of all artifacts and enchantments, especially if one of my token producers are online.
3 Darksteel Mutation Removal specifically for commanders.
4 Faith's Fetters Solid remove for all permanent types. Use it a lot of the time to stop enemy planeswalkers.
5 Oblivion Ring Solid spot removal.
6 Grasp of Fate Like Oblivion Ring but for all opponents.
7 Journey to Nowhere Cheap creature removal.
8 Prison Term Good commander and spot creature removal. Also, can slow players down and make them think twice about playing bigger threats.
9 Quarantine Field Mass removal. While it can be expensive to cast with lands like Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx , Serra's Sanctum , or Gaea's Cradle out I have completely wiped an entire opponent’s board then swung in for the win.
10 Seal of Cleansing I personally like all the seal cards because while they are cheap removal they also allow me to pay their mana cost when I have free mana and, not force me to always leave mana up. They also act as an artifact and enchantment deterrent and, lastly they work well for card draw with an enchantress out.
11 Soul Snare Same as Seal of Cleansing but for creatures instead. As long as one white mana is left open soul snare acts as a great political tool and, deters players from attacking me.
12 Song of the Dryads Mainly used for commander removal but, also works well for any type of removal.

Ramp Show

Being an enchantress deck, I don’t run standard green based ramp like Cultivate , Kodama's Reach or, Birds of Paradise . Instead, I use aura based ramp like, Wild Growth that not only provides ramp but also synergizes with other cards in the deck like, Sphere of Safety , Serra's Sanctum and, Yavimaya Enchantress . There is the chance that the lands do become targets for land destruction but, most games there are bigger land threats on the board.

1 Exploration Two lands a turn and counts as an enchantment. Getting this card out early can often win me the game. Towards the late game I should be drawing several cards a turn so this helps to filter out my land draws.
2 Fertile Ground is enchantment based ramp that synergizes with my enchantress’s also gives mana of any color.
3 Wild Growth is cheap enchantment based ramp that synergizes with my enchantress’s but, only gives me green mana.
4 Utopia Sprawl very much like Wild Growth but, allows me to pick if I want green or white mana from it. Sometimes can be a dead draw if I don’t have any forest on the battlefield.
5 Abundant Growth is not technically ramp but, more of a mana fixing card. That being said, it still a great addition in the deck. One way to read this card is, "one (G) mana to draw a card, draw more cards if you have any enchantress's out and, we will let you fix your manabase for your troubles while you are at it."
6 Land Tax on turn one means I am pulling three lands out of my deck a turn. While I end up discarding most of the land it allows me to filter my lands and guarantee I always have lands to play. Combine this card with Exploration and things start to get silly fast.
7 Mirari's Wake is such a versatile card, not only allowing my lands to produce double mana but also gives a small anthem effect to all my creatures.
8 Herald of the Pantheon reduces the cost of all enchantments I cast by one colorless mana. It might not sound like a lot but, reducing the cost of each enchantment has huge ramifications, allowing me to throw more enchantments which in turn means I am drawing more cards.
9 Karametra, God of Harvests is an all-around all-star in this deck. For awhile I actually used her as my commander, she synergizes with my enchantress’s giving me card draw when I play her, allows me to filter lands out of the deck when I play creatures and, is a big 6/7 indestructible body that works well on offense or defense.
10 Abundance This is another card that is not technically ramp but, card filtering. What makes this card really shine is the ability to always gurantee you are drawing what you need at the moment in the game. Mana screwed well Abundance to the rescue! To much mana and not enough enchantments, Abundance to the rescue!
11 Sol Ring Why would I play an artifact in a deck based around enchantments? Because Sol Ring that is why!

Draw Show

What makes an enchantress deck so effective is the deck’s ability to draw upwards to 5 plus cards every turn. I have played games where I have drawn half my deck in a single turn once the enchantress engine is online. Card draw in an enchantress themed deck is very simple, play one of your enchantress’s, Argothian Enchantress , Mesa Enchantress , Eidolon of Blossoms , ect. Then draw additional cards each time you play an enchantment. With almost half the deck either an enchantment or enchant creature just having one of these enchantress’s on the field will net you insane card draw.

1 Argothian Enchantress The cheapest of my enchantress’s also gives additional evasion with the inclusion of shroud.
2 Verduran Enchantress Standard enchantress, slightly more expensive then Argothian Enchantress but, comes with slightly higher defense.
3 Mesa Enchantress Same as Verduran Enchantress just white color shifted.
4 Satyr Enchanter Funny enough, he is the only enchanter in the deck but, same as the enchantress’s above except he also has a higher attack value. (gotta love power creep in magic)
5 Eidolon of Blossoms This is the most expensive enchantress I have in the deck but, adds the advantage of being an enchantment creature so she will activate the other enchantress’s abilities and, gives additional card draw when she is played. One key difference to Eidolon of Blossoms is she activates her ability when an enchantment enters the battlefield under your control and not when you cast an enchantment spell. The difference is she will trigger off enchantments coming back into play via Replenish or enchantment creatures created by Heliod, God of the Sun .
6 Enchantress's Presence The same as the enchantress’s above expect it is an enchantment instead of a creature so other enchantress’s will activate when it is played. Also, I find enchantments are harder to remove.
7 Courser of Kruphix Is what I would consider more card advantage than card draw. With the constant drawing of cards from playing enchantments, courser allows me to filter out land draws making sure I have a steady stream of enchantments to draw. Courser also is an enchantment creature, so she will trigger any other enchantress’s that are online when played. Lastly the gaining of one life each time a land enters the battlefield under your control might not sound like a lot but, it has won me several close games when I am just able to squeak by my opponent with the additional life gain.
8 Sylvan Library has to be one of the best enchantments in green. The ability to draw up to three cards a turn can not be underestimated in commander. Plus, if you have Abundance out you techinally don't draw cards so the downside to this card does not come into effect. Basically with both Abundance and Sylvan Library on the board you are chooseing lands or nonland cards and reveling cards until you have three cards of the chosen type each of your draw steps.

Token Producers Show

This deck has several ways it can win. One of these ways is a go wide strategy with tokens. Most of my token producers work off playing enchantments so I can quickly amass a small army of angles and/or cats.

1 Sigil of the Empty Throne If left unchecked then I can quickly amass an army of 4/4 flying angels in the mater of a few turns that will quickly flood the board and unless a mass removal spell is played will quickly win me the game.
2 Ajani's Chosen Is much like Sigil of the Empty Throne expect it triggers off enchantments entering the battlefield meaning cards like, Replenish or Starfield of Nyx will also trigger Ajani's Chosen . There are few things more exciting than watching your opponent play a Tranquility to wipe your board clean of enchantments then you following that up with a Replenish on your turn with Ajani's Chosen on the board. You get all your enchantments back and a 2/2 cat token for each enchantment you returned to play for your trouble.
3 Heliod, God of the Sun There is not a single card that can provide more utility in this deck than Heliod, God of the Sun . First, he is a 5/6 indestructible which works well on offense and defense. Second, he gives all other creatures vigilance freeing me to attack with creatures like, Karametra, God of Harvests or, Archangel of Tithes and, still having blockers to deal with my opponents. Third, he is an enchantment creature so he will trigger the ability of any enchantress I have online when he is played. Fourth, I can use unused mana to pump out 2/1 white Cleric enchantment creatures which will in-turn trigger Eidolon of Blossoms and Ajani's Chosen . Plus, putting more enchantments on the board further enhances other cards like, Ancestral Mask , Yavimaya Enchantress or, Sphere of Safety .
4 Luminarch Ascension Many people underestimate how easy it is to get 4 quest counters on Luminarch Ascension in a multiplayer game. Once the 4th counter gets placed the game quickly spirals out of control and, unless either the angel tokens or Luminarch Ascension can be answered immediately. If they can not then typically the game is over in a few turns.
