My attempt at an esper enchantment deck. This is a budget deck, most of the dual lands I will be trading for. Looking for any advice as to how to improve here. I want to take this to my aggro dominated FNM.

m12fox All of my creatures have flying already, though the lifelink may be nice as well. Will playtest with a few to see how it goes. I think I may want to make room for Favorable Winds but I don't really know where, maybe cut 2 Intangible Virtue ?

m12fox I actually debated that for a while, Doomed traveler was very mediocre in my testing. Niblis however is great for controlling my opponents board.

I would recommend cutting Detention Sphere to 2x, and Niblis of the Urn to 3x to open up the room for 3x Favorable Winds . Detention Sphere is wonderful and all, but 4x is a bit much, especially considering you're going to want to wait to see a couple of copies of something scary before you cast it. Plus, by opening up 3x slots for Favorable Winds , it really helps push you towards all-out anthem-aggro. I had a similar problem when trying to make a couple of my own decks based on enchantments:

Respect My (Righteous) Authority is an Azorius control through enchantment deck, while EnBANTments! is a Bant aggro through enchantment. Picking a primary between control effects and aggro effects can be difficult, but the decision really comes down to your own playstyle. Do you prefer bashing people's faces in with big, evasive creatures, pausing only long enough to clear a path to victory? Then focus the anthems, with the recommendations I made above. Or do you prefer to plink away at your opponent's health, having an answer to everything they do, and not allowing them any standing room? Then look into dropping a few creatures for Oblivion Ring and either Martial Law or Sphere of Safety . THAT is the big question to answer. :) Hope you found any of that helpful, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask them here or on my decks as well. Good luck to you, fellow enchanter! :D

Xindlepete Dude, that is so funny that you found this, as I was looking at BOTH of your decks and went Bant Enchantments because of your deck! I'm testing that one now, gonna see which one I like better.

Here's the bant list - Bant'chants.

Thank you for your responses! I'm honestly leaning more towards the bant list because more of the cards wont be affected by rotation. I'd love for your input on that list!

Yeah, looking forward to rotation was part of the reason I went with the Bant Enchantments myself. And thank you for asking my opinion; it's nice to feel appreciated! :) And double thanks for liking my ideas! Always glad to be an inspiration to other players. If you won't mind my asking, how did you come across my decks?

Xindlepete No worries man, haha. After making this deck I was looking through the enchantment hub on here. Either I saw one of your decks straight away, or I looked at another deck and saw you in the comments recommending one of your decks and I looked from there, don't remember exactly which one occurred.
