Like Infect? Like Elf tribal? Love making burn players cry? Love making RUG/Temur Midrange players hate life? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you're in the right place, my friend.

Story time; In my town, a new card shop opened, and I decided I'd bring this Modern deck out to see how things went, one of the other people was also playing Magic, and we were both Infect players. This deck is what I used and actually won with.

Now, I do know most of these decks go mono-green and run Ickerclaw Myr, but I didn't (and still don't) have one to add to this deck. I've play tested it with proxy-IMs and it just misses something when I add them. The deck is designed to go fast and go hard, allowing for mana to be easy to come by.

If I get an Elvish Mystic with a Forest in my opening hand and a lot else, so long as one is a Rampant Growth, I will keep the hand and go from there.

This deck cost me about $83 dollars to put together. This includes a few Werewolf creatures I added for flavor, since in some Germanic myths, the elves created the Werewolf.

So, why is Vampire Nighthawk in the deck? Because I don't like running Windstorm to deal with fliers and it is one of the most fair cards ever printed. In fact, they should have given it First Strike...... That was sarcasm, please, stop writing me angry letters.

The reason I'm not listing a sideboard is that I find it all depends on the local metagame. If it is slower, big dumb creatures and more removal. If it is faster, more one or two drops.

Please, leave a comment or suggestion. I think next I'll post a Commander list.
