hear is my first attempt on a modern Elves deck.
Since I am not willing to pay hundreds of dollars on
Cavern of Souls
or other expensive lands, I try to keep the costs low and go for a 'budget' mana base.
Please feel free to help me improve the mana base or give me advice on the sideboard.
Strategy:
Overwhelm your opponent with creatures and win reliably on TURN 4 by
Ezuri, Renegade Leader
's overrun effect or knock your opponent out with a couple of
Shaman of the Pack
Possible Turn 3 WIN:

, 3 Lands ( 1 has to be
Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx

Turn 1: Land +
Nettle Sentinel
Turn 2: Land +
Nettle Sentinel

Heritage Druid
-> tap all three for
Elvish Archdruid
, untap both Nettle Sentinels and tap again for
Ezuri, Renegade Leader
Turn 3:
Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
-> tap Nykthos for 7 +
Elvish Archdruid
for 5 and go for the win with twice
Ezuri, Renegade Leader
's overrun effect!!!
That's 35 trample power before blocking!!!
Infinite Combo
Infinite Damage: As a nice addition to win you can go infinite with 2x
Devoted Druid
and
Ezuri, Renegade Leader
: Tap the Druids for mana and give them both a -1/-1 counter, then do it again and tap any other mana source for the fifth . Use
Ezuri, Renegade Leader
's ability to give all your Elves +3/+3, untap the druids and start all over again for infinite damage!
