Played Elves for over a year and a half. I have top 8d an SCG IQ and now looking to go one level higher. I am discarding Cavern of Souls because the metagame now is very fast and I want to reliably cast both Black and White colors without taking too much damage (yes, I know that is greedy, but I think this is the next level of Elves). I have defended Thoughtseizes for ever on MTG Salvation and I have been saved by them too many times, so those are staying. The other choices are up for debate and I would love some feedback. Our metagame is fast with Infect, Zoo, RG Shifts and unique decklists. There are some smattering of other decks, but usually fast and unfair.

UPDATE: I am now returning the Cavern of Souls to beat Chalice decks. I am also testing a Lead the Stampede version

UPDATE 2: With the printing of Fatal Push, I am guessing the metagame will be a tiny bit slower, with Infect, Affinity taking a small hit. I am forming my board to be streamlined and mainboard to be fast, but resilient.

UPDATE 3: Trying Metallic Mimic to see if it can consistently be a good lord.

UPDATE 4: Going back to 1 of Chord and adding two Essence Warden main.
