This is the first EDH deck I've ever made. Originally, this was a deck with Tolsmir Wolfblood as the Commander packed with a lot of Ravnica cards. I built it with whatever I had on hand and it was pretty decent, but could not keep up with newer Commanders. I checked online and found Rhys the Redeemed and thought he would be a cool Commander. After going through my cards, I found that I had a lot of good elves to make a pretty solid deck on what I had.

For whatever reason, the Acquire board doesn't show up, so I put the cards I need to acquire in the maybe board. The cards in my sideboard are actually in the deck right now, but will take them out as I acquire the cards in the maybe board.

So my first time playing did not go as well as expected. I completed the deck with what I had so far, while my friend was using his new deck as well. I can't explain what happened step by step, but by his 6th turn I believe, he had Gruul Ragebeast, Platinum Emperion, and Ruric Thar, the Unbowed ; I only had my Rhys the Redeemed and two 1/1 Elf Token outs on the field at the time. He completely destroyed me.

Second game, I played against three other people. I stayed in long enough to have six elf tokens in play, with Rhys the Redeemed, Heedless One, Elvish Visionary, Wirewood Lodge and Timberwatch Elf. I only had one more opponent to face. On the field, she had Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts, Lord of the Void, and Sphulchral Primodrial. She had used Sepulchral Primordal earlier in the game to grab my Nullmage Shepherd and a Sphinx of Uthuun (She had these out on the field as well). She swung at me with Sphinx, Teysa, and Lord of the Void. She grabbed my Llandowar Elves with Sphinx. Her swung put me down to 18 with her at 28. (I had used Invinsible Hymn earlier. There are now 6 elves in play with 12 elf tokens. I controll 16 elves. Total of 18 elves in play.

My Turn.

I drew Elvish Promenade. I played Elvish Promenade. That makes an extra 32 elf tokens putting me at 44 elf tokens, with 4 elves. I then use Rhys the Redeemed second ability. I now have 88 elf Tokens, with 4 elves. Totally elves in play 94 elves in play.

I swing with Heedless One 94/94 straight out. I then tap Timberwatch Elf making Heedless One a 188/188 with trample.
