An Elsha Tim deck built around Jeskai Ascendancy , and tech to accomodate my favorite counterspell Glorious End .

Leaning into the component of , the main win con is to storm off with noncreature spells, then use prowess boosts to punch opponents in the face with Burning Anger .

Early game is about playing it safe, being politcal, and protecting value pieces. Later turns are a tedious ordeal of stacking prowess triggers to net mana off Kykar, Wind's Fury or Paradise Mantle and hopefully dig further into the deck. It's a wild ride to pilot my paper build, and I'm still learning when to hit the gas, when to slow down, and when to hold up a response. If the game goes late enough it can pull off some truly disgusting plays, such as Part the Waterveil + Radiate , and Contested War Zone + Mirrorweave (especially when stacked atop a couple Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper trigers), or my favorite tech when someone else is about to go off Glorious End + Sudden Substitution .

Value engine is Library of Leng + Wild Research , which becomes a reliable tutor for our best instants and enchantments. Library is sweet all on its own, as combined with Ascendancy, it lets us loot permanents and sorceries to the top of our library so Elsha can flash them out.

A value combo I'm interested in including is Argent Mutation + Eye of the Storm + Reality Ripple . I think it's a sweet way to protect Eye of the Storm (losing all your spells to exile sounds bad) while also denying opponents access to the storm pile. The consistency of the Research-Library Engine makes this a slam dunk.

This is my current build on MTGO, but there's lots of room for improvement. Notably, the mana base is f*cked and I need to make cuts to fit more lands. The early game needs accelleration/protection/interaction. Feedback is appreciated! I think I've put about as much $$ into this as I'm willing to though, so budget-friendly suggestions are even more appreciated.
