Paradox Tawnos

The deck aims to ramp out into Paradox Engine and abuse its untap triggers with Tawnos. As such, the deck utilises a suite of tutors to fetch out necessary cards as well as a higher than average mana rock count to effectively assemble our pieces as fast as possible. That being said, the deck is new and has much room for improvement. It's also considerably budget. A better iteration of the deck could definitely be made given a larger budget.

General combos

Tawnos can generate infinite untaps through the deck's namesake combo: Tawnos, Urza's Apprentice + Paradox Engine + at least UR available in the form of rocks on the battlefield.

Infinite untaps allows for

Infinite damage: Cunning Sparkmage.

Infinite mill: Codex Shredder.

Infinite draw: Sensei's Divining Top.

Infinite mana: any rocks producing mana other than the UR required to feed the engine.

Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth

With infinite mana at our disposal, multiple other outlets reveal themselves. Staff of Domination or any "draw x" spell draws our deck, while Walking Ballista offers infinite damage.

Words of Wind combo

Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain/Vedalken Archmage + Words of Wind + any two mana positive rocks allows us to bounce all our opponents' permanents. While this doesn't necessarily win, it creates an unwinnable state for our opponents, and by extension, effectively winning us the game.
