"The Foremost Killer in the Nation"

Commander / EDH BG (Golgari) Elves Sacrifice Tokens

Fafnoir

"The Foremost Killer in the Nation" That's how the MTG Wiki describes Nadier. How fuggin metal is that?

As of Kaldheim, I finally got enough of a push to move my Elf deck from mono-green Freyalise, to a Golgari pie. I'm a little sad to see Freyalise go as my commander, but all things must change :< In the few games I've played with this so far, it's been a blast and WAY more reliable than mono-green. Here's a quick rundown:

The early game is incredibly reliable. If I have two lands and a one-mana dork, I can ramp reliably to four mana on turn three, or five mana if I have/draw a third land, as Gilanra, Caller of Wirewood being ramp in the command zone is nuts. In an ideal world, this buys me the time to get more land drops or more ramp, and get into Nadier, Agent of the Duskenel

Gilanra's draw portion of her text is neat, but it's so not important. Just having that reliable dork on turn two or three means this deck's consistency is great.

If swinging out isn't going to seal the deal, we've got a Staff of Domination to combo out with some of our Megadorks, if they can tap for five or more mana. This lets me generate infinite mana, draw my deck, and win by either going full Aristocrats or making my board infinitely large with Finale of Devastation
