I decided that for my attempt at budget delver, I would try to go more along the approach of the pauper version, playing hand disruption, counterspells, and then several beaters to close out the game. The standard Delver of Secrets   package of Serum Visions, Spell Pierce, and Thought Scour. The late game of the deck is decidedly different from normal, playing threats with high cmc in Cryptic Serpent and Stormwing Entity, both of which can be used to emerge a Distended Mindbender for just 2 mana, stripping the final cards in our opponents hand, and finishing the game with more beats from our creatures.

I do need some help with finalizing the decklist though, as delver is a tempo deck that require razor-thin fine tuning to be viable, and this first list is a little rough.
