This is a token generating mid-range Selesnya Deck to be played in a casual commander environment.

The deck wins by either overwhelming your opponents in number, in strength, or in avoidance. Using cards like Doubling Season, Cathars' Crusade, or Champion of Lambholt

Why Trostani over Rhys?

The entire design focus of the deck is having more tokens. Rhys decks like to double their tokens and grow exponentially that way, but i want a more direct approach. With Rhys, every boardwipe starts you over. Most board wipes should be inconsequential to this deck, possibly even beneficial. As soon as that first board wipe hits, you flash back Increasing Devotion or play some other token generator.

Control

Arachnogenesis: Prevents damage that would be dealt to me, provides life with Trostani, Selesnya's Voice, and kills attacking creatures.

Aura Shards: Easy enchantment/artifact removal. Counters oblivion stone, one of the few run enchantment boardclears.

Beast Within: Removes any permanent threat, maximum of 2 3/3's spawned instead.

Elspeth, Sun's Champion: Destroys all large creatures, opening the path for my tokens.

Ezuri's Predation: Deals at least 4 damage to each creature you don't own.

Hour of Reckoning: Destroys all creatures I don't control, either allows me to kill an opponent or stabilize.

Path to Exile: Single target removal, extra utility with Precursor Golem if i'm hurting on lands.

Phyrexian Rebirth: Reliable board clear, combos with Doubling Season

Rootborn Defenses: counters opposing boardwipes, synergises with my own boardwipe, or repels a large attack.

Academy Rector: Reliable Doubling Season search, puts into battlefield.

Emeria, The Sky Ruin: repetitive late game reanimation, otherwise functions as a plains.

Eternal Witness: Get back any card.

Idyllic Tutor: Reliable Doubling Season search.

Lost Auramancers : See Academy Rector, stronger creature, less reliable activation, more repeatable.

Mentor of the Meek: Reliable card draw when anthems arn't in play.

Mosswort Bridge: Akin to Draw a card, play it for free. Only costs !

Plea for Guidance: Iddylic Tutor X2! Gets whatever remaining pieces of my Uber-token generator going.

Skullclamp: Always good. Best case scenario in this deck is pay draw 2 cards.

Skullmulcher: While in the full swing of things this guy will refill my hand while putting out a substantial creature.

Sterling Grove: Protects my enchantments, searches for enchantments I'm missing. Sacrifice it as it would be destroyed.

Sun Titan: Get back sacrifice lands and some of the higher quality cards.

Tempt with Discovery: Gets at least one land into play, most likely more. Activates Emeria, The Sky Ruin.

Well of Lost Dreams : Every creature that enters the battlefield with Trostani, Selesnya's Voice out has "Pay Symbol :X draw X cards".

Craterhoof Behemoth: Transforms your horde into an unstoppable force, the more the better.

Doubling Season: Double the tokens, double the counters, double the life, double the fun!

Garruk Wildspeaker: Overrun in a planeswalker, trample over opposition. Has ramp and token benefit.

Hour of Reckoning: Destroys all non-token creatures, no one to stop your horde from slaughtering all.

Launch the Fleet: can double the size of my attacking force, if not more.

Mycoloth: Unlimited saprolings, and life.

Nacatl War-Pride: At least Prized Unicorn . at best single-handedly kills a player with token doubling effects.

Overwhelming Stampede: Trample over opposition.
